While the physical center is closed, our community continues to be at the core of all that we do. In order to care for each other, we are offering a variety of ways to stay connected. With the power of virtual options such as Zoom, we are able to keep us connected for practice, study, and gathering.
If you are looking for ways to connect with the community, please check the website, as well as your emails, for updates on events. Let us use this time to come together and to keep our connections strong and meaningful.
If you would be more comfortable connecting with a person directly rather than visiting our website for information, please contact us at [email protected]. We will be in touch shortly after receiving your inquiry.
Please join us online!

NEW PROGRAM OFFERING:
We are pleased to announce a new course being launched by Shambhala Online in December 2021. We hope many of us in our local community can register and participate together.
Meditation: The Way of the Buddha – A Six-Week Online Course
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche Teaching in 1974 –Discover the power of meditation.
Two-Hour Online Sessions Sundays at 1pm Eastern Standard Time
Live sessions on Jan 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, & Feb 6, 2022
Access to course materials opens on December 26, 2021
Learn or refresh your connection to the practice of meditation as taught by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, based on archival talks in the summer of 1974 to an audience of new students. Although decades old, these presentations retain the same freshness and dynamism as when they were first brought from Tibet to the West, and are a reminder of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s incomparable mastery at communicating Buddhist teachings to a Western audience. These short talks – from mindfulness practice, to awareness practice, to the realization of emptiness – will be supported by further commentary and facilitated discussions by some of today’s leading teachers of Buddhism in the West, many of whom were actually present during these talks in 1974, including:
Pema Chödron, Dale Asrael, Dorje Löppon Lödro Dorje, Gaylon Ferguson, Arawana Hayashi, Marty Janowitz, Larry Mermelstein, and Judith Simmer-Brown.

“When you don’t punish or condemn yourself, when you relax more and appreciate your body and mind, you begin to contact the fundamental notion of basic goodness in yourself. So it is extremely important to be willing to open yourself to yourself.”
– from Shambhala: Sacred Path of the Warrior by Chögyam Trungpa

Heart of Warriorship Series
With trust in basic goodness and daring to experience the sharp edge of reality, we move forward with gentleness, increased awareness, and inquisitiveness about the world, as it is. We can extend ourselves to others fully and with kindness.
Please save the date for these live retreats.
