People of Color Meditation Group: Feeling the Body, Healing the Heart

Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the Month

with LaLa Drew & Bryan Mendiola

We come together as people of color to foster a space of safety, awareness, community, and healing. This is a time we can engage the practice of mindfulness meditation (shamatha), explore teachings on the Dharma (truth), and share our personal, social, political, cultural, and/or spiritual lives together. Shambhala is a secular meditation tradition rooted in Tibetan Buddhism, in the fundamental worthiness and sanity of all beings, and in the creation of an enlightened, awake society.

Open to anyone who self-identifies as a person of color (POC). Individuals from all spiritual traditions are welcome and no prior meditation experience is required.

Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the Month (Starting Sunday, March 11th)

Or like the free and open skies

To support and provide the space
