Sadhana of Mahamudra

July 2, 2015 6pm-7pm

Prior to the Thursday evening Just Sit in Brunswick

The Sadhana of Mahamudra is an important practice given to us by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala Buddhism. This practice is a binding factor for our community and is done on the day of the full or new moon. All levels of meditators are welcome. The essential teaching imparted is that the nature of the practice itself can undercut any notions of spiritual materialism.  The practice consists of meditation and chants, and lasts about an hour.

The Brunswick Shambhala Center Shrine Room is being professionally cleaned by ServPro Cleaning Service on Monday, August 3,2015. All the items in the shrine room must be removed prior to that date. The items must then be returned to the shrine room once the cleaning is completed.

We are planning to remove the items out of the shrine room on Sunday, August 2nd, immediately following Sunday Morning Meditation and then return the items to the shrine room on Tuesday morning August 4th.
