Six week class at Brunswick Shambhala Wednesdays 6:30pm Jan 2, 2019- Feb 13, 2019

In this new book, The Future Is Open: Good Karma, Bad Karma, and Beyond Karma, Chogyam Trungpa challenges both popular and fundamental misconceptions in our understanding of the Buddhist doctrines of karma and rebirth, sharing a view of the Buddhist path and the practice of meditation that can actually help people to wake up.

This weekly class will explore the classic Buddhist teachings on Karma through a newly published collection of talks by Chogyam Trungpa. Trungpa emphasizes that while the past determines how we got to the present moment, the future is completely open and available for our activity beyond what brought us here. Prior meditation experience will be helpful. Drop-ins welcome.
