    Senior Buddhist teacher Judith Lief will give a public talk at Brunswick Shambhala Center on 

    Wednesday, June 13  at 7 pm on

    Wakefulness in Everyday Life, Practice Teachings on Fear and Courage from Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

    Judith L. Lief is the compiler and editor of The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma, based on thirteen years of lectures given by Chogyam Trungpa at the Vajradhatu Seminaries, advanced programs for his senior students.

    Acharya Emerita Lief will draw discuss Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s teachings on how to cultivate wakefulness in everyday life to become gentle and fearless. “Fear is an obstacle when you do not give in to it; but after you have given in, fear becomes kindling, an encouragement, and a pilot light.”

    Lecture is free and open to the public, teaching gifts accepted.
