UPCOMING REGIONAL PROGRAMS of INTEREST:
Karme Choling:
Refuge & Bodhisattva Vow
Karme Choling will be offering Refuge and Bodhisattva Vows with Acharya Bill McKeever on the afternoon of Sunday January 20, 2019.
“In the Buddhist tradition, the purpose of taking refuge is to awaken from confusion and associate oneself with wakefulness. Taking refuge is a matter of commitment and acceptance and, at the same time, of openness and freedom. By taking the refuge vow we commit ourselves to freedom. “ CHÖGYAM TRUNGPA RINPOCHE
Refuge Vows are open to all, and Bodhisattva Vows are open to those who have taken the Refuge vow at least 6 months ago, with a recommendation from your Meditation Instructor.
Before taking the vow, you will also have an interview with Acharya McKeever in the week preceding the vow.
If you are interested or intend to take either the Refuge or Bodhisattva vow, please let me know via email at [email protected]
