We come together weekly as people of color to foster a space of safety, awareness, community, and healing.

This gathering will begin in the fall again.

Kyudo, the Way of the Bow, is one of the oldest arts of the Japanese tradition of contemplative warriorship. The practice of kyudo begins with first shot and the cultivation of beginner’s heart.

Tune into the natural environment and restore energetic balances with sensory practices, qigong, and mindfullness-awareness meditation. Reconnect with your body and drink in the restorative powers of trees, river, rocks, and forest of Karme Choling.

A program for school teachers to discover how we are with our students is as important as what we teach. In this retreat we explore meditation, teachings, and contemplations that help us to connect to the richness in our lives.
