SHRINE ROOM SEATING

Suggested Friday Evening Setup for Participants

• Cushion setup- Number of cushions used should include participants and staff as well as 3-5 extras for guests for the evening talk.

• Zabutons and gomdens are recommended for setup with zafus and support cushions readily available in the back of the room as needed.

• Seams for all cushions should be facing the back of the room.

• Maximum number across the room is 6-7 allowing enough space to walk comfortably on either side of setting.

• A few chairs should be in a row directly behind the last row of cushions.

• Allow enough room between shrine and first row of cushions for rug and chair used for director’s talk.

• Place reserve notices on front row cushions for Director’s Service and AD(s).
