Shambhala Art & YouTube

Well I have been meaning to get to this for a long time and it is finally begun.  We have a YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/MaineShambhala . I have a bias toward video and have been known to put together a video or two in the past using the dual-meaning “Breathe EZ Studios” moniker. Have even acted in a few amateur films. Anyway I have always found video a great way to teach.  We are a different society than we were a hundred years ago. We no longer sit with a text book to learn what we need.  We learn best by engaging all of our senses, or at least as many as possible.  With that in mind, it is only fitting that the first video on our YouTube page addresses Shambhala Art using our recent Shambhala Art Festival as the forum.  I was in a hurry to get something on the site and so it’s not my best editing and I didn’t use a tripod or a wireless microphone as is my habit.  Nonetheless I am pleased to offer this, the first video on our new YouTube page.  The YouTube icon at the bottom of our home page will no longer take you to the Sakyong’s YouTube page, but rather to ours.  You’ll notice I haven’t added all the bells and whistles yet, but they are coming.  If anyone has any videos they would like to share please let me know. [email protected] . Happy viewing!!
